What better way to celebrate today's very special May the Fourth event than with Lawrence Noble's superb rendering of the classic Ralph McQuarrie 1977 poster concept art for the original STAR WARS, that debuted and sold exclusively (2000 copies only) at the so far one and only STAR WARS CELEBRATION JAPAN event from 2008, of which this beautiful image also celebrated the franchise-launching film's landmark 30th Anniversary in that unique and appreciative territory.
For me personally, its the films and their magic, and not the vast amount of merchandise, that ultimately count!
